What is Hypnotherapy?
Firstly, hypnotherapy isn't magic and you are in control.
The “trance“ state is nothing to fear. It is natural and we all slip in and out of it daily. Simply, it is a shift in awareness, for instance when the mind drifts off looking out a window, running, listening to music or lost in a book. You are here and “there” at the same time.
So, when you are hypnotised, you are deliberately placed in a relaxed state to access empowering or unhelpful thoughts and feelings you want to work through.
